Vijay Bhosekar, Project Liaison (IDRC), University of Guelph, has been named to the Board of Directors of the Canadian Society of Agronomy. Vijay received a B.Sc. in Plant Agriculture and an M.Sc. in Agronomy from Marathwada Agricultural University in India as well as a Ph.D. in Agronomy from Acharya N G Ranga Agricultural University in India. In addition Vijay also holds an Ontario Certificate in Environmental Control from Sheridan College in Brampton. Vijay has had a distinguished career already, serving as an Agribusiness Consultant for the India Agribusiness Consultants Inc., in Toronto and before coming to Canada he was an Associate Professor at Acharya N G Ranga Agricultural University in India. Vijay is certainly an excellent choice for the CSA Board of Directors.
