Dr. Qingzhen Jiang graduated with her PhD in Plant Science from Utah State University, Logan, UT in 2006. She is now focusing on genetic mapping of important agronomic traits in tetraploid alfalfa for future marker assisted selection in the breeding programs. She has a broad background from Agronomy to crop physiology and molecular biology working with cereal crops (corn, wheat and barley) and legumes (alfalfa, white clover and soybean) either in the greenhouse or in the field. She was an agronomist and working as an assistant professor at College of Agronomy in Agricultural University of Hebei.
