Professor ARIO SANTINI is Vice Dean, FGDP(UK), The Royal College of Surgeons of England and Director Biomaterials Research, EDI. The University of Edinburgh. Professor Santini main interests are dental biomaterials centring on micro-Raman spectroscopic analysis of the degree of conversion of composites and adhesive resins. His current studies include the detection of Bis Phenol A from resin composite materials and the quantification of monomer elution in dental composites and adhesive systems using HPLC. Additionally he has an interest in Practice Based Research and is an active member of the IADR Practice Based Research Network. He is frequently invited to lecture in the UK , Europe and elsewhere. He has published over 100 papers in current content journals.
