Radek Machan has worked at the laboratory of Prof. Martin Hof at J. Heyrovsky Institute of Physical Chemistry of ASCR since 2006 (till 2011 had worked there on his PhD thesis under supervision of Prof. Hof). Since 2009 he has been teaching Fluorescence Spectroscopy and Microscopy at Czech Technical University (Faculty of Biomedical Engineering). Between 2013 and 2016 worked at NUS, Singapore in the group of Prof. Thorsten Wohland and currently is back at J. Heyrovsky Institute. His research interests include: fluorescence spectroscopy, fluorescence microscopy, Fluorescence correlation spectroscopy, biological membranes, membrane-active peptides.
