Min Li is an Associate Professor in School of Information Science and Engineering, Central South University, Changsha, Hunan, P.R. China. She received her B.Sc. (Communication Engineering), M.Sc. (Transportation Engineering and Control), and Ph.D. (Computer Science) degrees from Central South University, China in 2001, in 2004, and in 2008, respectively. She was a visiting scholar in the Department of Computer Science at Georgia State University from 2010 to 2011. Her current research interests are essential gene/protein discovery, protein function prediction, protein complexes identification, molecular network analysis and its applications in complex diseases researches. She has published more than 50 papers, which have been published in various journals (BMC Bioinformatics, BMC Genomics, BMC Systems Biology, IEEE/ACM Transactions on Computational Biology and Bioinformatics, Computational Biology and Chemistry, etc), and conferences.
