Dr. Andrea Masotti received B.Sc. (1997) in Chemistry, Ph.D. (2000) in Chemical Science and a Second Level Master degree in Bioinformatics (2007). Main activities during the last 10 years: medicinal chemistry, nanotechnology, non-viral drug delivery with polymeric and surfactant molecules, gene expression profiling and post-transcriptional gene regulation, bioinformatics and systems biology. Dr. Andrea Masotti founded (2004) the Gene Expression - Microarrays Laboratory at the Children's Hospital Bambino Gesù.
