Prof. Dror Aizenbud is the Chairman of the Orthodontic and Craniofacial Department and the deputy director of the School of Graduate Dentistry, Rambam Health Care Campus and Technion – Faculty of Medicine Haifa, Israel. He is a visiting professor at the Craniofacial Anomalies Center, Stanford University Hospital, California, USA. Prof. Dror Aizenbud holds a Master of Science degree, a degree in dentistry and a certificate in orthodontics both from the Hebrew University and Hadassah School of Dental Medicine, Jerusalem, Israel. He spent a fellowship program in the Craniofacial Center at the University of Illinois at Chicago with the group of Drs. Figueroa and Polly.
Prof. Aizenbud's focus is on combined orthodontic-surgical treatment of dental and skeletal malocclusions and anomalies. Prof. Aizenbud's research interests include craniofacial anomalies, biology of tooth movement, craniofacial distraction osteogenesis, dentofacial orthopedics and adult interdisciplinary treatment. Dr. Aizenbud has published over 120 original research and clinical papers in refereed journals, including contributions in several monographs and textbooks. He has been invited to lecture at numerous professional organizations around the globe.
