Xing Chen received the B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from Kunming University of Science and Technology, Yunnan, China, in 2004, and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in mechanical system engineering from Chonnam National University, Gwangju, Korea, in 2008 and 2012, respectively. From 2012 to 2014, he was a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. He is currently a Research Associate with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Utah, Salt Lake City, USA. His research interests include microactuators, microsensors based on graphene and stainless steel, scanning probe microscopy, and implantable biomedical microdevices.
